International jury presents Veigel a recognition for the architectural concepts and integration of the company’s logo and color in the new company headquarters in Öhringen

The German Design Council (Rat für Formgebung) has awarded the new headquarters of Veigel GmbH + Co KG in Öhringen with the ICONIC AWARDS 2019: Innovative Architecture”. The certificate was presented on Monday in the “Pinakothek der Moderne” in Munich to the architectural office Legiehn from Potsdam and Hinrich H. Swyter, Chairman of Veigel.

The new building for Europe’s leading manufacturer of dual controls for driving school vehicles and car adaptation solutions for people with disabilities unites all departments under one roof. The family-run company, with a long tradition, focuses on delivering quality, innovation and design in all possible areas. The iconographic architecture used, meets the highest requirements for energy efficiency, economy, barrier-free accessibility and communication-promoting structures and creates an identity for the Veigel brand. The company logo and color are deliberately integrated into the architecture so that no lettering is required. The building is simply Veigel both inside and outside.

“We are proud and happy that an international jury has honored our new headquarters with the prestigious Iconic Award 2019,”; said Jann Hendrik Swyter, CEO of Veigel. We understand this as a recognition to our success in transferring our corporate philosophy and consistent brand management into a modern, functional building. Our customers feel at home here. The bright and modern rooms and workplaces also show the highest degree of respect we show our employees as a family-run company,”; added Hinrich H. Swyter, Chairman of Veigel.
