VEIGEL is a German company rich in tradition. Since 1920, we have been developing dual controls for driving school vehicles as well as driving aids for individuals with physical disabilities, first in Künzelsau and today at our new location in Öhringen.
Our founder Wilhelm Veigel was aware, as soon as in the 1920s, of the importance of being mobile.
Today, we are market leaders and export our products from Germany around the world. With VEIGEL products and adaptations, you are sure to benefit from German quality. We guarantee it.
Quality
You can carry out precision work only if you have the smallest detail under control. (Niki Lauda)
Our company and our employees continuously strive to provide the highest level of performance and quality. VEIGEL has chosen to prevent dysfunctions and thus avoid unnecessary repair. Our quality objectives are constantly monitored.
Our quality standards include recognition of our employees´ commitment as well as sustainable and ecological corporate management.
Certifications
Since August 2008, Veigel belongs to the exclusive circle of IATF 16949 certified manufacturers. This standard, created for the suppliers of the automotive industry, places the highest demands on quality, flexibility, documentation and innovation. We are proud to meet its requirements.
IATF 16949 is based on ISO 9001 qualification which Veigel introduced as soon as 1997. Mid 2014, the first environmental audit proved Veigel’s compliance with ISO 14001 requirements.
As we supply car manufacturers, mobility equipment installers and end users with identical products, the technical progress benefits all our customers. They receive authenticated OEM quality equipment.

Awards
We are proud of our award-winning products
When VEIGEL established its Rehamotive (trademark) division in 2000, a wide range of solutions for the physically disabled already existed. Many of these solutions were invented after the war to help people recover mobility. VEIGEL Classic and Compact hand controls were amongst them.
Many products for individuals with disabilities are functional; their design however is rather unattractive. For the Swyters, it was important that their products for the disabled meet today’s expectations in terms of design. Focusing on design and aesthetic aspects proved to be a factor of success. We owe our position as global market leader to our products honored with several awards for design.
On the German and American market, VEIGEL has set new standards in terms of product design!

A long established family-owned company
Tradition and continuity combined with progressive future-oriented development
Since 1920, Veigel has been a family-owned company and this long company history is the foundation of our success. Being a family-run company, we highly respect our employees. Working in an enjoyable family atmosphere is important to us. At present, two generations of the Swyter family proudly and respectfully carry on the heritage of two generations of Veigels.
We consider our business partners and customers as being part of our VEIGEL family and attach great value to respect and continuity also in this regard. Sales targets are part of economic considerations, but our corporate strategy is oriented towards long-term success rather than towards short-term sales objectives.
